National Fry Day
We as a Nation celebrated over the weekend my ultimate,
favorite, go-to comfort food…the French Fry. I could probably eat fries every
day; fries are a perfect side, but I believe that a great fry can stand on its
own as the star of the dish. Celebrate the fry (it is technically a vegetable
after all) by picking some up at lunch or after work, buying them frozen and
cooking them at home, or make homemade with your favorite potato and a knife
(use a mandolin if you want to get perfect and/or fancy (e.g. waffle cut
fries)); everything in moderation because we all know that French Fries are not
the healthiest thing to eat, but man are they tasty.
