Who You the Video Interview: Caleb Brouk

I am super excited about this one!!!!

Never have I had such a huge response from people from a video that I never shared. I’m excited that people are looking at my stuff, and coming out and talking to me, but it has been crazy that people have been wondering what makes Chris Allred emotional because I’m not known for my empathy (or so I’m told).

So finally…here it is…

Illuminati Tattoo owner, Caleb Brouk, humbled me with a little piece of his life story. There is no way that the video captured the real emotion that Caleb and I had over our talk, because we had been talking long before we started rolling, and the video was more of a recap of some of the stuff that we went over (not taking anything away because we shoot the raw gritty footage that captures who we are and Caleb’s real life story).

Caleb is an amazing artist. You can see that on the skin of folks all over the Portland metro area. He has talent, and yes (as some of you have asked) I would love for him to do some work on me. I highly recommend him.

I don’t know Mr. Brouk well, but what I do know of him is this:

Caleb is a person of high integrity that I can trust, and if I can trust him so can you.

Illuminati Tattoo is more than a tattoo parlor; it is a haven for people to turn to. I’m not saying that Caleb hands out money to everyone on the street (so don’t go begging). I’m saying that the people and organizations that Caleb works with are for the better because of him and Illuminati.

Caleb gives people help, but more importantly he gives them hope. Hope for a better tomorrow. Hope that their lives can be whatever they choose.
Caleb then takes that hope and bumps it up a step…by giving people a purpose. This is where Caleb succeeds. There are hundreds of people in the area alone that have benefited from Caleb’s actions.

It is amazing how much he gives back to the community.

Why Illuminati?

Illuminati Tattoo is a great place to get your new tattoo or getting a bad tattoo fixed. There are other talented tattoo artists out there…

But…

You want to go (I want to go) to a place that you can connect with the artist on a personal level. Seriously…you spend a lot of time with them in a very close proximity.

I can’t say enough about how much I like Caleb Brouk, and what he is doing for all of us (directly or indirectly).

Caleb has given so much, and so please give back to him. Go in and see him and get some new work done. The more that you support Illuminati, the more that they can turn around and help others.

Like Caleb said…he’s not trying to get rich because he is already rich…and he’s not talking about being wealthy in dollars.

Who You the Interview: Tracy Underwood

Not only did we get Tracy Underwood on our Sponsorship list…

(It’s been months in the making)

But she also answered the 3 questions for your enjoyment and knowledge.

ALSO…I’m “SUPER” “sToked”…

…that we have the opportunity to partner with this musical superstar…

…to help promote her new tour because she changing things up…and it’s going to be epic.

I’m excited about this one (I’m excited about every person I talk to…so don’t get me wrong). Rock n’ Roll great…Tracy Underwood is in the house…or on the website…

Just buy her albums and she’ll be in your ear.

Her are Tracy’s answers to the 3 questions:

What is your biggest success?

Writing and creating the Save Me video.  I had no idea that this song and video would have had such a huge impact for others, including myself.  It was a very cathartic process and outpouring of my own story.

What is your biggest failure?

Not knowing early on the real reasons for my adversity and listening to my gut.  Basically, letting my own fears keep me from doing what was really needed in my younger years.

What do you want to be remembered for?

I would like to be remembered for making a difference in people's lives when they were broken and being known as a positive light for all that I have been blessed to come in contact with; be it through music or just in general passings.

Who You the Interview: Bernard Owens Jr.

I have known Bernard since we were little kids. My memories may be wrong, but I could swear it was like 2nd or 3rd grade when we started to play together at recess. Before that, Bernard hung out with this Sonny kid (I think his name was Sonny). Sonny used to climb the swings, and one day he fell. It most likely just knocked the wind out of him, but I remember him being hurt.

I never saw Sonny again (he’s not in my memory…at all). But…that opened up Bernard to play with other kids…like me.

Michael D. Davis answers the 3 questions AND he is also our newest Sponsor of the Week.

Who You the Interview: Michael D. Davis

Most of you probably don’t know this, but Michael D. Davis was there with me in the beginning when the Lemon Cake Initiative was nothing more than a thought. His advice and feedback was invaluable. I appreciate everything that he has done for me, but I am even more appreciative of what he is doing for YOU (even if you don’t know it yet…you will).

I am always incredibly happy when I have the opportunity to talk with Michael D. Davis, because I always leave the conversation feeling inspired and with a lot of “food for thought”.

I can easily fit Michael into a few boxes…friend, mentor, business associate, role model.

But what about you?

Here are some links for you to discover for yourself on what an uplifting positive person Michael is. You’ll want to follow him just to get his daily inspirational messages, but you’ll discover quickly that there is so much more.
