Double the Taco, Double the Fun

Double Decker Tacos are a complete rip off from a “Mexican inspired” joint that has been serving fast food for years. It’s not a restaurant that I visit frequently, but sometimes you just got to have it. However, Double Decker Tacos are something I tried at the restaurant when they first came out and have never had the urge to eat them there again, but they’re something we love to make at home. I mean come on, what’s not to love about a taco inside of another taco? Soft outer flour tortilla with a crispy inner corn tortilla, pressed together with a layer of creamy refried beans, and then the whole thing is filled with your favorite toppings. This is the traditional “Mexican inspired” way we make them at home, but feel free to mix it up and add different ingredients to make it your own. (chrisallreddesign.com)
