“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” is just as mediocre as the first film, and did nothing to stand out from the rest of the films released this year.
The story itself is great, but fans of the book will find quite a few differences between the two storylines; of course this is probably due to the length of the movie, what can you capture on film, and what is necessary to get from point A to point B without losing the audience.
I don’t feel like going into the blaring political argument that this story makes, but there is one made and it is definitely biased. I give this film two thumbs down and I recommend you wait to see it when it comes out on TV.
